What's New

New fabric is arriving weekly. The Christmas fabrics are being shipped. From Moda, we just received the "Holly Jolly Snowmen" collection. It will be posted on our web site soon.

In the shop, look for the red, white & blue tea-dyed buntings. Last year these sold out quickly. We have several patriotic fabric collections great for that summer project. We have a new primitive artist selling her one of a kind originals exclusively with our shop. If you like the extreme primitive crafts, you'll appreciate Vickie's work.

Patty hung a porch swing up front to make a nice display area. Fresh chocolate just arrived from Coblentz Chocolate. Coblentz is from Walnut Creek in the Amish country. We had 8 ladies attend the sweatshirt jacket class yesterday. Shirley is giving her apron talk to another ladies' group. She's probably lost track on how many times she's given this talk.

As you can tell, life is busy at Farmer's Country Store. Stop by and give us a visit.

The Queen and Her Court Quilt

We just received a beautiful fabric collection from "Quilting Treasures" called "Marie Antoinette". The designer "Wing and a Prayer Design" has created a beautiful quilt for Block-of-the-Month programs. At Farmer's, we have cut the fabric for the entire quilt. You can work on your quilt as you like throughout the year or complete the kit according to your personal schedule.

If you purchase the kit, we include the $25 pattern free. The kit price is $225 for this queen size quilt. Check our website, www.farmerscountrystore.com, under "Kits" and also "Misc. Fabrics" buttons to view the "Marie Antoinette" fabric and the kit.

As always, we accept phone orders or stop by. The store's quilt is in the process of being made.

Come Inside and See

I love my job. I work in a country store where I get to create, decorate, move furniture and play decorator. All of the girls that work in the shop are creative quilters and decorators. These are some of the pictures of Farmer's Country Store located in Lancaster, Ohio. We are not just a quilt shop. We have something for everyone. These are just a few of the areas photographed.
